Thank you for reading and for this kind comment, John. I agree with you 100%. It isn't just the medical system here. There was so much more I could've said and I may well write a part two, but it seemed too long already.

It's the sense of the other, as you said. It's generations of misconstrued religion married to political power. It's a fault in the education system when we haven't been teaching science about sex, pregnancy, or anything in between. It's politicians that run campaigns based on emotional lies instead of facts. And it's social media platforms that have provided folks the megaphone they need to stay ignorant of the very real trauma these laws and the rhetoric that fuels them cause.
